A key step toward combatting white nationalism

Bowman for Congress

Last week, Congress joined Jamaal in passing House Resolution 1152 to make a stand against the white supremacist “Great Replacement Theory,” a deeply harmful ideology that is used to justify racism, antisemitism, islamophobia, xenophobia, and the mass murder in Buffalo last month.

This is a key step that will look at where white nationalism lives and breathes in our democracy and our law enforcement, pushing back against the kind of radicalization that has led to mass shooting after mass shooting in this country.

We have to come together to put an end to white supremacy in our communities and our democracy, and to do that, we need your support. Can you add your name to stand with Jamaal, House Democrats, and other progressive leaders as they call for immediate action to end white supremacy?

Jamaal’s resolution has gotten national attention and started a larger discussion about how we all must work to rid our nation of white supremacy. Take a look at just some of the headlines from the past week:

The Hill: House Democrats pass resolution condemning ‘great replacement theory’

The New York Times: House Democrats Dared Republicans to Oppose White Supremacy Measure. They Obliged.

Rolling Stone: Democrats Are Mounting a Response to the Great Replacement Theory

Jamaal is leading the Democratic Party in this effort. It’s rare for a member of Congress to pass a resolution like this in their first term — but Jamaal said “Congress has to do something.” So they did.

Please, add your name today in support of Jamaal’s resolution to fight back against racist rhetoric and build a multi-racial democracy where all of us can thrive.
