Any other country would have immediately rounded up every individual remotely connected to an attempted coup and imprisoned them. This country allowed the architects of the coup to remain in their positions of power while they prosecuted the foot soldiers. Numerous members of Congress were not only involved but helped orchestrate this crime. By not immediately addressing their treasonous acts, we're now on the cusp of having one of the ring leaders elected to Speaker of the House, second in line to the presidency. A man totally entrenched in conspiracy theories, a man who refuses to acknowledge the rightful president of the United States and a man who has sold his soul and position to Donald J. Trump. If the Justice Department or the Attorney General had had the guts to go after these congressional members Congress would not be in the shape it's in today (a total FUBAR). With a record like Jim Jordan's he should have never been a consideration for such a powerful position. Jordan has been an empty seat in the House of Representatives for 16 years and during all those 16 years he's done nothing but tear down and obstruct. This says everything you need to know about today's Republican Party. Make no mistake, giving Jordan the Speakership Republicans have effectively handed the House to Donald J. Trump.................. Hopefully voters are awake and paying attention. Jan.6th, 2021 was only a dress rehearsal for what's to come with traitors like Jim Jordan as Speaker..........

DANA L. BOOTH: MEMPHIS POLICE KILLING OF TYRE NICHOLS

I saw the Rodney King beating and I saw the video of George Floyd's murder but somehow the murder of Tyre Nichols was even more horrific. These cops were totally out of control and apparently feared no retribution for their actions. They acted like a gang of mad dogs. Who continues to beat, kick and stomp a handcuffed man ?? Who responds to a traffic violation like this ?? Not one of these 5 police officers should ever see the light of day again. Everyone of them deserve a long prison sentence in general population ..

Most of you know I was a police officer while I was an undergraduate student. I worked the 12-8am shift while attending classes during the day for 3 years. In 3 years I was in some tight situations but only drew my service weapon once. I was a 5-8", 120 lb young woman and I took down criminals a lot bigger than me without ever abusing my authority. My badge and gun gave me NO permission to treat anyone like what I saw in that video.

I guarantee this wasn't the first time these 5 police officers abused their authority. What we witnessed had probably happened several times before but hadn't been caught on camera or caused the death of someone. I've said many times before, police officers should be forced to pass psychological evaluations before ever wearing a badge. Many police officers are bulked up on steroids making them a time bomb. Many are often accused of spousal abuse. Police recruiters get a lot of these cops returning from war zones. Many come home with serious mental problems so giving them a badge and a gun is a recipe for disaster. Then there are bad cops who are terminated in one municipality only to get hired somewhere else. There's no registry listing police officers with performance problems so they just relocate. Good cops who say nothing when they witness bad cops are just as guilty. What happened to Tyre Nichols is a recurring problem in almost every major city where cops have been allowed to get away with abusive behavior for too long. Hopefully, the D.A. will throw the book at the animals who killed this young man. These police officers were in the wrong from the time they pulled up behind Mr. Nichols at the stop light. The 2 EMTs who responded should also be terminated and never allowed to work for another ambulance service. My heart goes out to the Nichols family and I hope they get justice but there's nothing that will bring this young man back.................... This was a senseless loss of life that should have never happened................

I'm at a loss for words watching the Republican Party literally embrace scum bags like Nick Fuentes while making excuses for Donald Trump. I'm equally disgusted with people excusing Kanye's behavior because he's supposedly Bi-Polar. Has anyone actually seen a diagnosis from a doctor on Kanye's alleged illness ?? Then there's Kevin McCarthy who's willing to sell his soul for the Speaker's job. McCarthy is such a weak and impotent candidate for any leadership position in Congress that he's willing to form an alliance with the dumbest of the dumb, Marjorie "Traitor" Greene. Not to be outdone, "numb nuts" Walker is literally tripping all over himself making one outrageous claim after the other in an attempt to become a United States Senator when he can't even form a sentence or have a thought process anyone can follow. Republicans don't seem to have an issue with Donald Trump who recently stated we should abolish the U.S. Constitution. Has this Party lost it's ever-loving mind ?? (rhetorical question)........

Congressional Republicans have now formed a committee to ascertain why they lost what they should have won during the Midterm Elections.. It's not rocket science, look at who they had running as candidates.. Look at who's making headlines representing the GOP currently sitting in Congress (Gaetz, Boebert, Greene, Cruz, Graham etc. etc.) This political Party is self imploding and the American voters are exhausted from all the chaotic LACK of legislative movement and the steady flow of treasonous rhetoric .. Donald Trump has destroyed the Republican Party and they have no one to blame but themselves. Trump has exposed the GOP as RACISTS, FASCISTS, and GREEDY POWER HUNGRY corporate whores who only fight for the 1%. Democrats aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination BUT Democrats have never attempted a COUP or tried to over turn an election. Democrats have always sided with the Working Class and they've never had TRAITORS as a majority within their ranks.. 2024 will be the year voters finish what they started in 2022. So go ahead Republicans, waste time and money on frivolous, retaliatory investigations BUT you'd better update your resumes because 2024 will be here before you know it......
