"Clowns are out!" Hegseth lashes out at trans troops, "beardos" in speech
The accused rapist in charge of America's military, Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth, spent all day today proving what a big tough boy he was by running around a parking lot with U.S. service members wearing shirts that said “WAR” on them, because, as Pete’s favorite philosopher Sun Booze famously once said “It’s not how many wars you win, it’s how many pushups you can do that truly makes a leader.” Then he dragged all the poor troops into a sweaty auditorium to yell at them for being fat slobs and not loving war enough, and yelled at the media for reporting on how many people died in the war that he lost, and promised that everyone’s balls would be just BRIMMING with testosterone.
“It's worth saying again, so that the fake news understands it. We are no longer the woke department or the weak department. Simple translation of that. No fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Just warriors. Just tough, ready, committed troops!” declared Hegseth in his speech. "The ideological clowns are out. The patriotic cowboys are in with testosterone testing on top!”
The projection is off the charts. There were some significant nuggets buried in the speech, like the creation of an Autonomous War unit for robots, something called “Project Meridian” to be led by Elon Musk and - wait, that can't be right, Newt Gingrich? what? and a “Fortress America” initiative to, uh, build forts or something like that for all the troops we're bringing home from the Middle East since Iran has destroyed all of our bases.
He also announced the creation of an "Office of Religious Affairs" that would have a direct line to him in order to help take care of the troops' spiritual (read: Christian) needs. Given the propensity of the Trump administration to make grandiose promises and then never deliver on any of it, we'll buy it when we see it, but this entire display of bigotry and insecurity was a new low for our nation.
Take Action: Prosecute EVERY member of the Trump administration for their crimes!

A 53-47 vote to pass the “Stop Insider Trading Act” failed after every Democrat and Independent voted against it yesterday afternoon. Why on earth would we oppose that, you might be asking? Having been written by Republicans, the bill was full of loopholes that allowed them to continue their corruption...and they also added in draconian voter ID restrictions as a poison pill amendment, dooming it to fail from the outset. With any luck, the next time the Senate convenes, we will have a blue House and Senate and will ACTUALLY be able to pass a real “Stop Insider Trading Act” – and then hold Trump accountable for his corruption, his crimes, and all the chaos he’s unleashed at home and across the world.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an executive order Wednesday stating that "fetch" will NOT be happening, in a clear troll of Donald Trump, who has declared that AI will be referred to as "Super Intelligence" in a destined-to-fail effort to rebrand the controversial tech. “Super intelligence is clearly not coming from the White House — that’s why California continues to lead,” said a deeply sarcastic Newsom in his order. Perhaps someday things won't be quite so evil and stupid.

DataOne, the Microsoft-linked New Jersey datacenter recently hit with a $1m fine for running unpermitted generators, emitted large amounts of health-harming air pollution for nearly a year before state regulators stepped in, according to public records obtained by Floodlight.
The Vineland facility’s 62 gas-fired generators became public in August after a Floodlight/Guardian visual investigation found them operating without permits. The New Jersey department of environmental protection last week fined the company over the fleet but did not disclose how long the generators had been operating nor how much air pollution they had released into the surrounding community over the past year.
