I am sick and tired of the do-nothing Democrats in our Party

 

In 2020, we “voted blue” just like they asked—and we gave them majorities in BOTH Houses of Congress along with the White House.   In exchange, they told us they would cancel student debt, decriminalize marijuana at the federal level, end cash bail, institute a $15 per hour minimum wage, lower prescription drug prices, and, infamously, send us $2,000 stimulus checks.   We delivered. Now it’s time for Democrats to deliver in return.  If the corporate-backed members of our Party can’t do that, then they need to get out of the way of those of us who are willing to buck the establishment and actually fight for the working people we claim to represent. I could go on and on, but I’ll spare you a full Friday afternoon sermon because I suspect I’d be preaching to the choir.   We’re in crunch time. Let’s talk inflation.

 

Hey,     Here in Las Vegas, we’re paying over $5 for a gallon of gas, the price of food is rising, and life is getting more expensive for regular people and working families like ours. When you turn on any corporate-owned media channel these days, the only thing you’ll hear from talking heads is that it’s inflation crushing the working class.    Here’s the reality though.. Fossil fuel stocks are way up, CEO pay has skyrocketed by more than 30 percent, and the 12 richest men in the world doubled their wealth during the pandemic.    If you ask me, it’s not simply inflation that’s to blame. It’s our status quo leaders, who’ve worked so diligently over the past few decades to create a government of, by, and for the corporate elite.    I’m running for Congress to end all that and put control back in the hands of the people—but with our end-of-month goal just a week away, I still need your support to get there.
