 Zohran Mamdani just shocked the world in the New York City Democratic mayoral primary with a massive upset victory over Andrew Cuomo. Not only is Mamdani’s win a substantial blow to the Democratic establishment and a victory for progressive politics, but it was also a massive win for pro-Palestinian movement in the US:  Leading up to the election, the establishment media dusted off the same old AIPAC talking points - trying to paint Mamdani as radical Islamist and antisemite for simply calling for the end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza. His opponent, Andrew Cuomo, was also backed by the MAGA billionaires who bankroll AIPAC - spending a record breaking $25 million to try and defeat Zohran.  And Zohran kicked their ass.  This is watershed moment in American politics - the tides have turned completely turned against Israel’s genocide and AIPAC’s Islamophobic smears were overwhelmingly rejected by Democrats. Zohran showed Democrats that they can defeat the AIPAC campaign cash and propaganda machine, and paved a way forward for the party to reclaim their status as the pro-human rights and anti-war party. Members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus should take note. Nearly half of the caucus’s members have accepted massive donations from the Trump-aligned AIPAC. AIPAC support is not a boon, it's a liability - and standing with AIPAC will cause these Democrats to lose their seats. AIPAC's flat out lies

 

A Super PAC funded by the right-wing special interest group AIPAC is spreading disgusting lies about Justice Democrat Summer Lee.

This is a photo of the gross and misleading mailer AIPAC’s group is sending to voters:

Voters have already received this disgusting mailer smearing Summer and attempting to tie her to Trump. We only have 10 days to fight these overfunded lies.

Can you rush a split contribution to Summer and Justice Democrats right now? We’re getting outspent on TV and mail by establishment Super PACs that will do anything to stop us — we need our grassroots supporters to step up for Summer today.

This mail piece is so gross and misleading that a slate of high-profile Democratic elected officials in Pennsylvania urged Summer’s opponent, corporate lawyer Steve Irwin, to condemn AIPAC’s lies.

PA Democrats who urged the condemnation said: "Not only is this an outright lie, but it is shrouded in the racism and sexism that has prevented so many Black women before her from running for and holding elected office."

When the establishment gets desperate it will lie and spend a lot of money spreading the lies — all to stop our working-class progressive Justice Democrats.

Contribute $10 to Summer and Justice Democrats right away — the only way we can fight back against these lies is to fund more outreach to voters before Summer’s May 17 primary.

Let’s fight back against these establishment Super PACs and send Summer to Congress.
