Another day, another economic disaster brought to you by Donald Trump. As the week begins, Trump is doing what he does best—crashing our economy and trying to scam his supporters while pretending it’s all someone else’s fault.
Let me show you just how ridiculous it’s gotten. Today, Trump sent out this message to his followers:
“Would you accept a DOGE dividend check signed by Trump?”
I wish I was making that up. Trump is literally out here suggesting he’ll send people DOGE savings checks—signed by himself—while the markets are tanking and Americans are watching their 401(k)s, pensions, and life savings nosedive.
This is a con artist in full-blown panic mode. He knows his fake promises have collapsed, and now he’s distracting people with crypto gimmicks while the country burns.
Meanwhile, his economic adviser Kevin Hassett went on CNBC trying to blame this market collapse on President Biden. Seriously? Trump's team caused this mess, and now they’re out here gaslighting the public with tired talking points:
This will be a golden age.
Okay, there might be short-term pain.
Actually, it’s Biden’s fault.
That’s the Trump economic timeline—lies, excuses, and finger-pointing.
And here’s what’s really happening: U.S. markets are plummeting while global markets are rising. The first time since 1988 that U.S. stocks fell 3% while non-U.S. stocks rose 2.5%. Why? Because the U.S. under Trump has become a toxic cesspool of economic chaos.
Banks are down. Private equity is getting crushed. American companies across the board are bleeding. So yes—your retirement account is getting obliterated because Trump is the most incompetent, corrupt, and bankrupt businessman in American history.
And what’s his response? Grift harder. Distract louder. Lie bigger.
He’s out there pitching investment deals… not in the United States, but in Greenland. I kid you not. Trump posted a bizarre message declaring he’s ready to “make Greenland rich.” Hey Donald—how about making America solvent before offering foreign aid to icebergs?
He’s also gutting Medicaid, national parks, and social safety nets, while his cronies like Elon Musk repost his garbage and pretend it’s genius. And now, Amazon is streaming The Apprentice, thanks to a deal Trump cut with Jeff Bezos. So while your life savings evaporate, you can binge-watch the reality show that conned a nation into thinking Trump was competent.
This isn’t leadership. This is economic arson paired with reality TV reruns.
