New York AG Letitia James The regime found a fresh place to plant its culture war—the food on our tables. Late last year, the USDA told states they couldn’t get federal food money unless they first signed a loyalty pledge to follow Trump’s rules on “gender ideology,” immigration, and who gets to play in girls’ sports.

Twenty states and DC refused, and took the regime to court. On Friday, federal Judge Myong Joun blocked the entire scheme. New York Attorney General Letitia James put it plainly: “We won a court order protecting billions of dollars in USDA funding.” She vowed to keep fighting to “stop the federal government from punishing our state for refusing to bend.”
Trump’s message was simple: obey, or let families go hungry. A judge just told him their dinner isn’t his to take.
Chuck Redd has played the Kennedy Center every Christmas Eve since 2006. When Trump’s name was bolted onto the building, Redd canceled his show. His conscience wouldn’t let him play under that name.
The regime tried to bankrupt him for it. Kennedy Center boss Richard Grenell came after Redd for a million dollars, calling his cancellation a “political stunt.” Then came the offer: perform, drop the politics, settle for $7,500. Redd refused that too.
On Friday, DC Superior Court Judge Tanya Jones Bosier threw the case out. Redd never signed a contract, she ruled. His lawyer Lisa Banks called the case what it was: “political retribution, pure and simple.”
The regime sued a drummer for a million dollars. A judge ordered the regime to pay Redd’s legal bills instead.
Last September, the regime decided that hiring a foreign-born doctor, teacher, or researcher should cost an extra $100,000 each. Trump signed an order slapping that fee on H-1B visas—the ones Congress created in 1990 so that hospitals, schools, and universities could hire skilled workers they can’t find in America.
There was just one problem with Trump’s plan—a president can’t invent a $100,000 tax with the stroke of a pen. That takes a bill and votes in Congress.
Twenty states sued to stop it. Then on Monday, federal Judge Leo Sorokin ruled the regime had “no power or delegated authority to impose a tax,” and threw the fee out. California AG Rob Bonta, who led the lawsuit, had warned from the start: “No presidential administration can rewrite immigration law.”
Trump made up a tax nobody voted for. Now it’s gone.

The challenger is a 68-year-old retired schoolteacher from a fishing town. He says he jumped in because the senator stayed silent about the fund. The senator’s so spooked he’s demanding the state erase the other Dan Sullivan from the ballot, and threatening to sue. “It’s cheating,” he said. “This is just corruption.”
That’s not the only reason the senator is sweating—Democrat and former Rep. Mary Peltola is already in this race and outspending him nearly two to one. Under Alaska’s ranked-choice voting, two Sullivans on the November ballot could split the Republican vote and hand Peltola the seat. A seat that helps decide who runs the Senate.

What I love about this is how ordinary people keep stepping up — a teacher in Alaska, a jazz drummer, state AGs, judges, readers here. It’s a reminder that none of us are alone in this. The more we show up for each other, the more these wins stack up.

Every time the regime tries to punish people for telling the truth, someone stands up and knocks them back down. It all adds up.
I’m sorry but it’s not Everytime”. Those in detention centers have no access to this, making it double important we ALL do this!
Valid point! What is going on in the so called 'detention centers' is awful!!! No 2 ways about it. These people should all get their day in court. And health departments should be allowed in, to monitor the facilities and food. I know these are Federal facilities, but a health outbreak of something like measles would be a local concern and thus the local health departments whether state, county or city should have the right to inspect these premises.
These centers are borderline mayhem, willful harm inflicted for no reason
other than causing harm.
I saw a post on FB Re: President Eisenhower visiting a concentration camp right after the end of WWII. Gen. Patton walked away and vomited. Eisenhower communicated that he wanted many in government and the press had to meet him there. He wanted all to recognize the horrors and report them to the public, just in case this ever was happening again. I fear we will have the International courts visiting us in a few years if we don’t stop this!

To see and hear of who all are being treated with no humanity let alone dignity should have ICE and this administration in court for their crimes! We need a No Kings Day for all who are in these detainment camps!!! Get the spotlight on them!! With interviews of those who are now released but were wrongfully detained, and the harm that was done to them and what they saw and experienced.

I agree! In my opinion, the GOP aesthetic is stiff, coiffed, overly made up, overly hairsprayed and just plain unappealing. ((shudder)) The fact that the only facial expressions they seem capable of are sneering and red-faced screaming adds to my revulsion.

The teacher is Dan J. Sullivan. It is father's name, grand father's name and his name.
While I very much appreciate Chuck Reed’s legal victory, let’s be clear who is paying for it. “The Regime” does not have its own money. Their money is our tax dollars. When this is all over I think the government should sue Trump to recover the billions of wasted tax dollars spent on frivolous lawfare as well as any potential payments to his acolytes.
I think there's enough evidence right now to freeze at least some of his and his family's assets.

Is it me, or did trump look truly exhausted and stooped in that MTP interview with Welker? I honestly never watch or listen to him if I can help it, but watched that interview after it aired (knowing how it ended), so he’s maybe looked that way for a long time now (?), but a side shot of him really showed his prominent slump and his face looked withered. They seem to have stopped spray painting his hair orange, too (it’s very thin and gray) - but not his face, which looks more and more like a traffic cone as days pass.

You know, the one he was so hellbent on making sure he upended fans' and NYers' ability to move about the city at great expense to taxpayers and a loss for the Knicks? A man who built his name pretending to be a villain on television lost an election fair and square, and the President of the United States looked at the count and called it a goddamn crime. The votes came in the order they always come in — early mail first, election-day ballots after, the late Democratic surge that statisticians have a boring name for. Nobody cheated. They just counted, and the counting told the truth, and the truth was unbearable to the men who'd already written the other ending.
I am so glad that Reed ( Kennedy center drummer)won the suit against the regime and they were ordered to pay his legal fees. Does that mean the taxpayers pay it and if not where does the money come from? In the larger scope, are we, the taxpayers, paying for all of this regime’s absurd and vindictive legal suits?

AND while I'm here this morning, I keep thinking about the Meet the Press interview where he kept saying. "Those poor wonderful five people who committed suicide after Jan. 6." He didn't realize
the suicides were of the Capitol Police who were attacked by Americans. I see their job as being one
of prestige. They were policing the halls of the Capitol of the United States, when they were attacked by a mob sent by Trump to overthrow the election results.
That Trump totally mixed up the facts in his brain is real proof that he is unfit for office. It is time to

Peltola is the first candidate I am sending some cash to this cycle. I knew a gal in high school named Peltola way over here in Massachusetts. Seems only right. Truth be told I can tell by looking at and listening to Mary Peltola is the real deal.
Human beings decide whether someone is normal every single day quickly in everyday situations. We have to do this, it is a safety thing.
Let me ask you, if you were at the grocery store and Donald J. Trump walked toward you and you saw his gait and facial expressions and he bellowed that it was a conspiracy against him that the blueberries were overripe and the radical left lunatics were behind it and fake news is not reporting it and the Muslims are to blame because they take all the blueberries
you would back up and make way and avoid looking at him directly. You would do this because he appears deranged. Simple. You would go to the front and speak to a manager or the security guard or a police officer and mention someone in Aisle 9 was losing it. Not to be mean but to help him and to help others be safe.
That scenario is actually happening at this moment.
An ill person is the President. No one is helping him and therefore no one is helping us. We the people are in danger . We know it.
What will it take?
Yes we are doing many things and winning. And there is more work.

Your Dad high as a kite but coherent enough and high enough to listen to you and see this huge chance to eclipse his father and you his daughter catapulted into ever more eyes of millions of marks. I mean people.
And Barron. Young man. As tradition little is said about you. Americans instinctively don’t screw with the children of the President. We are nice that way. We hardly know you. Not a lot of public statements. In your quiet way would you mention to Mom that you are worried about your Dad. You are worried , you must be. He is your Dad. Normal people worry about their Dad’s health. Maybe just mention to your Mom that it seems like no one is helping Dad and he seems to be in trouble Mom?
