4 arrested: P&G feels Tide of anger in Ohio

We showed up, we spoke up, and four brave activists GOT ARRESTED for telling Procter & Gamble to clean up their supply chain — a trail of destruction from the rainforests of Indonesia to the boreal forests of Canada.

We took the fight to end deforestation right to P&G’s doorstep: showing up at their corporate headquarters in Cincinnati with a few friends and some big visuals that they couldn’t miss! When police arrived, they told us to stand down. We refused.

Four activists were arrested for their part in standing up to Procter & Gamble and telling them to stop land theft, violence and deforestation — so let’s honor them by keeping the momentum going.

P&G continues to source forest-risk commodities like palm oil and paper from the very worst suppliers. One of them, the Royal Golden Eagle group, has connections to Indigenous land theft, clearing of Orangutan habitat and violence in Indonesia.

Those who got arrested put their futures at risk to let P&G know that we won’t back down when it comes to humanity’s irreplaceable rainforests, our shared climate, or Indigenous and local communities. Let's carry their energy forward and send a message directly to P&G's CEO Jon Moeller.

With people power, and the courage of everyday individuals, we’re making P&G feel the pressure. And we won’t let up until we win.

In solidarity,
