We’re reaching out to see if you can make a $5 donation to our campaign today, but before we ask, can you give us a chance to explain why your support is so important?

At the end of this month, we have an official FEC deadline — the first FEC deadline of our general election. It’s going to be the biggest test we’ve faced yet.

But we have a bit of a problem at the moment. We’re nearly halfway through the month, and our fundraising is not where we expected it to be. The truth is we’re not on track to hit our goal unless we pick up our pace in the next few days.

It’s critical that we hit this goal if we’re going to compete with the $33 million in TV ads that Republican super PACs have already booked. The NRSC is on the air right now attacking Cheri, and we cannot let our opponents drown us out with dark money and false ads.

The only way we can reach our goal before the FEC deadline is with A LOT of grassroots support. That’s why your $5 is so important, and why we’re asking:
