Los Angeles DA George Gascón recall group has 400k signatures; starting to see 'real light' at end of tunnel The recall effort is getting real. According to a new report, the latest recall effort (the second effort since I was elected in 2020) is close to acquiring the signatures required to qualify for the ballot. They still need an additional 166,857 signatures by July 6th. But given the lavish sums that are being spent by Republican billionaires like Geoff Palmer and others, there’s a real chance the effort will move forward. I’m sick and tired of Republicans thinking they can circumvent the democratic process to try and stop our movement just because they are unable to win elections on their own.
