going backwards on reproductive freedom

Since 1994, 59 countries have expanded access to abortion for their citizens.

While just three — Poland, Nicaragua, and El Salvador — have restricted women’s right to choose.

The United States may soon be the fourth.

A draft ruling leaked earlier this week indicates that the U.S. Supreme Court is poised to strike down Roe v. Wade — overturning a landmark legal precedent and setting back the clock on reproductive freedom by 50 years or more.

The official ruling is expected to come down in June or July.

There is no time to waste.

Tell Congress and President Biden:

Don’t wait for the Supreme Court to rule — as the leaked draft opinion indicates is likely — to overturn Roe v. Wade. Take whatever combination of legislative and executive action you can NOW to preserve the fundamental rights of all women and pregnant people in America to make their own choices about their bodies, their health care, and their reproductive freedom.

Add your name now.

Thank you for taking action.

For progress,
