We wanted to take a moment to go over this latest poll:

Stacey Abrams: 45%
Brian Kemp: 50%

This is the first poll released since the start of the general election — and since Brian Kemp started blanketing the airwaves with smears against Stacey.

Kemp put a major early investment into burying us. The only way we can catch up is by reaching as many voters as possible in person, on TV, online and anywhere else we can. But right now, we don’t have the resources to do all the outreach we need.

We’re counting on grassroots donors to dig deep and help close the gap between us and Kemp. Can you pitch in $10 now to make sure we elect Stacey Abrams as the next Governor of Georgia?

To close this gap, we’re planning for major investments into our voter outreach, volunteer, persuasion and mobilization programs. We need to have the resources to push back against Kemp’s lies, lift up the voices of Georgians he’s left behind and protect voters and their right to cast their ballots.

None of that work is cheap or easy, but it is all critical. Especially with Brian Kemp’s lead in the polls, and his team vowing to spend “whatever it takes” to beat us.

That’s why we’re relying so heavily on this grassroots team. While Kemp runs to his big donors, the only way that we’re able to keep up with his spending is with donors like you.
