Can you believe this?

Crist for Governor

I won’t lie: When I think about all the terrible things Ron DeSantis has done to Florida and our people during his time as governor, my blood pressure rises. It seems there’s no end to what he’ll do to advance his own political career.

He’s vowed to eliminate background checks and gun permits across Florida, putting our children and our families in greater danger.

He signed the most restrictive anti-choice legislation in Florida’s history since Roe v. Wade, banning almost all abortions, with no exceptions for horrible situations like rape or incest. It’s a monstrous law, but it won him points with Presidential Republican primary voters, so he supports it.

He’s determined to silence anyone who opposes him. One autocracy expert recently claimed in POLITICO that DeSantis is trying to turn Florida into his own personal “mini-autocracy.” He’s even gone after the Special Olympics for going against his backwards political agenda. Sadly, you can’t make this stuff up.

Suffice to say, the stakes could not be higher in this November’s election. With DeSantis eyeing a run for president in 2024, there’s no telling what he’d do with a second term as governor if he thought it would help him get to the White House.

The good news: a recent Listener Group poll shows me outright BEATING the governor in November. But to maintain that lead and get Florida back on the right track, I need your grassroots support to help keep up momentum. Will you pitch in right now?

Thank you. Together, I know we can end DeSantis’ cruelty and make Florida a place that works for ALL Floridians.

Charlie
