Correction: Trump absolutely knew this would happen and didn't care. By everybody saying 'Trump got played' you're essentially saying that Trump restricted Ukraine in an act of good faith. Trump doesn't care about Ukrainians. He only cared about Zelenskyy when he thought he could extort him. Don't portray Trump as a 'victim.'
