If you’ve been waiting for the right time to support our people-first movement, that time is now. We’re up against a conservative primary opponent whose sole mission is to preserve the status quo, and a slate of Republican challengers who want to take us back decades on critical issues including abortion rights, voting rights, access to health care, and more. Our challengers want to either stand still or go back — and they’ve collectively raised nearly $2 million to try to make that happen. But our movement is focused on moving forward into the future with bold solutions that meet the needs of our communities — from enshrining abortion rights into law and passing Medicare for All, to cancelling student debt, to making sure billionaires and corporations pay their fair share. We won’t make these necessary reforms a reality by catering to conservative Democrats like my primary opponent, Joe Manchin, or Kyrsten Sinema. Voters gave us a mandate for bold, people-first change back in 2020. We need to deliver by strengthening our progressive coalition in Congress and pushing to abolish the filibuster and expand the Supreme Court so that nothing gets in the way of our fights for progress. But that can only happen if I stay in Congress. It will take a groundswell of resources to defeat my opponents, and our movement relies on grassroots supporters like you — never corporate PACs.
