Now that we're well into the new month, our team has had a moment to settle with the numbers from our most recent fundraising push — and we have good news and bad news.

But before we share, if you're ready to propel our campaign forward right now, please show your support by chipping in $10 or more. As a grassroots powered campaign, its supporters like you who help us achieve our success.

Now for the good news! Over the past few months we've seen a massive wave of progressive, grassroots support for our campaign and for Jamaal's work in Congress. Not only are we building up our progressive community in NY-16, but we're proud to be uplifting leaders and change-makers all over the country who are fighting for our progressive values.

But here's the bad news: our campaign is not in the place we need to be in order to fully ensure that we have the tools and resources to be prepared for this upcoming election season. Not only were we outraised last quarter by an establishment-backed, conservative opponent, we now have to grapple with the uncertainty of the New York maps, a possibly delayed election date, and so much more.

we need to do everything we can over these next few months to ensure that we're able to fight back and protect our progress — no matter what obstacles come our way. Can we count on you to help boost our campaign with a donation of $10 or more?

It's crucial that we continue to be unapologetic in the fight for our progressive values. What we do today will set generations after us on a better, more inclusive path and that starts by fighting for a codified Roe v Wade, a Green New Deal, the full Build Back Better Agenda, abolishing the filibuster, and so much more.
