Trump and his minions thought they could bury the Epstein files under mountains of redactions. But on Wednesday, Congress said otherwise—as the GOP-led House Oversight Committee voted 24-19 to subpoena AG Pam Bondi, with five Republicans joining all Democrats.
The DOJ released millions of pages so heavily redacted that even Republican lawmakers said it wasn’t enough. Then they were exposed for pulling nearly 48,000 files from the public database—which included serious allegations against Trump.
Bondi tried to cover it up by offering members a private briefing. The committee handed her a subpoena instead.

Just before Bondi was subpoenaed, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick agreed to testify about his relationship with Epstein. Lutnick claimed for years he cut off contact in 2005—three years before Epstein’s first conviction. But the files tell a different story.
Emails show Lutnick arranged a visit to Epstein’s island in 2012. And a photo seems to show them together during that visit. In another file, Lutnick appears to invite Epstein to a 2015 fundraiser.
Twenty years of denials—let’s see what story holds up under oath.

Kristi Noem got fired yesterday as Secretary of Homeland Security and is leaving by the end of the month. Trump said he’s nominating Oklahoma Sen. Markwayne Mullin to replace her. It’s the first Cabinet departure in Trump’s second term.
This move comes only days after Noem said Trump approved a $220 million ad campaign urging immigrants to self-deport—something the White House immediately denied. Noem contradicted Trump in front of Congress. She was out within 48 hours.
Noem’s tenure at DHS has been defined by absolute failure, abuse of power, and killings of American citizens. Trump didn’t fire her for any of those things. He fired her for embarrassing him on TV. That tells you everything.
After being fired, Noem quoted a line attributed to George Orwell: “People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.” Sounds like a confession to me.

On Wednesday, Cook County prosecutors dismissed all 21 cases stemming from a protest—including fifteen women who call themselves “suburban moms.” They were arrested for sitting down in the middle of the road outside the notorious Broadview ICE facility in Illinois.
After massive public pressure, the state attorney’s office said that even with sufficient evidence, they declined to proceed with charges. The resistance showed up, got arrested, and walked out of court free.

She should, and may, be brought up on charges of murder for killing Good and Pretti. Bovino as well. They all need to be publicly tried. Justice must come out of this on-going coup, and that includes trump...the SC 'immunity' be damned. Let the state AG's bring the charges.

Bondi behaved like a spoiled child when she was questioned just a few weeks ago. What’s going to be different this time?? She is also a traitor, a liar and obviously does not believe in the Constitutional oath she took.

Hats off to Congressman Neguse he uncovered and disclosed in his interview with her that Noem 'paid' $143M to "SafeAmericaMedia" there was no invoice detailing work justifying that payment, the company has no office or physical address/site, no web presence and absolutely no performance record - let alone performance warranting a $143M payday - the company was formed JUST 8 DAYS before that pay-out - she needs to return the $$$ and go to prison for that, if not also for the negligent management of ICE Terrorists - send her to the prison her ICE victims are sent to please

I would ask Bondi to release all the files with trump’s name, where he was accused of sexually assaulting young children. He needs to be held accountable and prosecuted for his actions. Also all the billionaires that also participated with Epstein. It needs to all come out so the survivors can have justice.

Since there are several pictures of a young Bondi with Epstein, I would ask her at what age did she become entangled with the Epstein elite and understand what circumstances.
I would ask both Bondi and Lutnick if they think DJT is loyal to them, and are they confident that their job is safe if they do something that publicly embarrasses or disputes DJT. And finally, who do they think is really in charge: DJT or Miller.

It's great that they gave Spam Blondi a subpoena. She will be her usual shrewish, nasty, vile self...and will it result in ANY kind of fine,removal, contempt, or formal prosecution? Good that Nutlick will have to testify but he is a slimy, degenerate liar and will play it off how transparent he is being by testifying and will it result in any kind of prosecution, removal, fine, or censure? If he does decide to initiate another military conflict, it almost certainly won’t involve any ground operations. Trump took office saying he would end America’s “forever wars,” but only those who weren’t listening very closely believed he had no appetite for overseas military adventurism. Trump loves a good bombing campaign, but favors operations that are quick, involve minimal risk to US personnel, and don’t require him to clean up after whatever mess he made.
In the first year of his second term, Trump bombed seven different countries: Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, Somalia, and Nigeria. That’s not exactly a record of restraint, but it shows how he likes to operate.
Though Iran’s ballistic missiles and proxy groups are part of the official rationale, Trump is focused on the country’s efforts to develop its nuclear capacity. That’s why it’s so important to remember that we had an agreement with Iran that did, in fact, constrain its nuclear program. It was called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and it was painstakingly negotiated by the US, Russia, China, France, Germany, and the UK, and finalized in mid-2015. In exchange for sanctions relief, it put in place a monitoring system to ensure that Iran could not enrich uranium beyond what was necessary for civilian use. (Iran has always claimed, not very persuasively, that it has no intention to build nuclear bombs.)
When Trump took office in 2017, his own military and national security advisers tried to convince him that the JCPOA was working and would stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. But because it was negotiated under Barack Obama, Trump convinced himself that it was a disaster, and in 2018 he abandoned the agreement. To no one’s surprise, Iran then resumed its efforts to reach the capacity to produce nuclear weapons, leading us toward the place we are now.
He hasn’t even tried to persuade anyone
While Americans are well used to the cycle we’re in — escalating tensions, belligerent statements from both sides, a seemingly unstoppable march to war — there has been a gaping void where we normally find a vigorous propaganda effort.
We all know how it works: The president gives a big speech explaining what his goals are, administration representatives fan out to make the case, members of Congress debate whether it’s a good idea, diplomats are sent to persuade allies that they should join in the effort, and all of that creates waves of news coverage and analysis that help the public understand what’s at stake and what the potential outcomes are.
In its extreme version (e.g. the Bush administration’s preparation for the Iraq War), the government creates bogus narratives and fake evidence of the terrible danger America is in if we don’t immediately let loose with all our spectacular capacity to rain hellfire down on any country anywhere in the world. But even that presumes that without the legitimacy of public support, the war can’t proceed.
