WHERE ARE MASS GOP AS THEY BLINDLY ENDORSE TRUMP'S

POLICIES? THEY ARE IGNORING HUNGRY CHILDREN!

Congress is working toward a new Farm Bill — and despite the name, this isn't just about farms.

For millions of families across this country, the Farm Bill determines whether there is enough food on the table.

That's because the single largest part of the Farm Bill is nutrition assistance — programs like SNAP that help seniors, veterans, children, and working families afford groceries when times are tough. In the richest country on Earth, that should not be controversial.

But right now, Republicans in Congress want to use the Farm Bill as an excuse to cut back on food assistance and make it harder for people to get the help they need. I strongly oppose that.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: there should be no Farm Bill that leaves people hungry.

Everywhere I go in our district, I meet people who are struggling with rising grocery prices and housing costs. I meet seniors stretching fixed incomes. I meet parents trying to make sure their kids have enough to eat. They deserve a government that has their back — not one that turns its back on them.

The Farm Bill should strengthen nutrition programs, support family farmers, and make healthy food more accessible and affordable. It should reflect our values as a country.

And I promise you this: I will continue to fight any attempt to weaken SNAP or undermine programs that help families put food on the table.

Ending hunger in America is not impossible. It's a matter of political will.

I intend to keep pushing until we get it right, as I have throughout my career.

More soon,

Jim
