Wall Street giants are bankrolling Project 2025

Project 2025, a “Presidential transition project” hatched by The Heritage Foundation, seeks to replace all non-partisan experts in government with MAGA henchmen. That means vital public institutions would be run entirely Trump devotees dead-set on being a rubber stamp to push his policies. The plan includes an outright national abortion ban and would manipulate the Comstock Act to stop the distribution of medications and equipment used for safe abortions, outlaw mifepristone and ban birth control. Project 2025 also calls for the separation of migrant families, the end of birthright citizenship, and the establishment of deportation camps. The plan details steps to expel seven million people from the United States within four years. The plan also attacks public education and would ignore and worsen the climate crisis. It would defund major agencies like the FBI and refocusing the Department of Justice’s priorities towards prosecuting people Trump disagrees with. American banking giants like Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase have long financially supported the Heritage Foundation. Their contributions are directly contributing to the implementation of this draconian and anti-democratic plan.
