IMPORTANT ISSUES! THESE ARE NOT SOLICITATIONS
An animal catches the scent of bait and tugs at a small device sticking out of the ground. In an instant, it releases a deadly cloud of sodium cyanide. Often called cyanide bombs, these M-44 devices are indiscriminate killers. These devices can can kill any animal that tugs at their baited trigger, including wolves, bears, other endangered wildlife and even beloved pets.1 More than 38,000 supporters in our network signed our petition calling on the Bureau of Land Management to ban cyanide bombs from the public lands it oversees. Now, we've delivered those petitions to the agency.
Delivering these petitions is an important step, but our work isn't over. We'll keep gathering signatures and advocating for laws that protect wildlife from cyanide bombs. We'll keep educating people across the country about the danger these devices pose to wildlife, pets and people. And we're campaigning for supporting Canyon's Law -- legislation that would ban these devices on all public lands. Thank you for standing with us and helping move this campaign forward, The Environmental Action team Your donation will be used to stand up for wildlife and the wild places they call home, and to support all of our campaigns to protect our environment. The generosity of people just like you is what makes all of our work possible. |
