Tell Rep. Keating: More than 100 U.S. Representatives voted last week to block $3.3 billion in military funding for Israel. It's a seismic shift, bringing Congress closer to ending U.S. complicity with Israel's atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran. Sign the petition: Thank you Rep. Keating for voting to reject $3.3 billion in tax dollars for the Israeli military. The House of Representatives had a chance to deny funding for the Israeli military and stop supporting Israel's atrocities in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, and Iran. 104 lawmakers, including your representative, voted to reject $3.3 billion in taxpayer funding for Israel, a historic show of opposition to America's unconditional support for Israel's genocidal violence.1 Rep. Keating took a courageous stand that we can build on to finally stop our government from sending billions in weapons and our tax dollars to the Israeli military. It’s important that we show Rep. Keating our support for this vote, and urge them to keep fighting to break through the weakening pro-Israel consensus in Washington. Sign the petition: Thank Rep. Keating for voting to reject funding for Israel's military. “It used to be that just a small number of House Democrats would vote against sending taxpayer dollars to weapons for the Israeli military," said Progressive Caucus Chair Rep. Greg Casar.2 "Proud of my colleagues who voted to stop funding Israel's genocide of the Palestinian people," said Rep. Rashida Tlaib. "When folks talk about this vote, remember it's been over 3 years of this violent ethnic cleansing campaign where over 73,000 Palestinians have been killed, millions made homeless, and thousands of amputee children. The genocide continues. Keep talking about Gaza. Never stop."3 This vote is tangible progress towards ending support for Israel's violence — a position that has the clear support of the American people. We must applaud Rep. Keating's vote and urge them to keep fighting to end U.S. complicity with Israel's attacks. Thanks for taking action, Sources:
