CYANIDE BOMBS WERE STOPPED BEFORE....IT NEEDS TO BE PERMANENT!

No animal deserves to die this way. Cyanide bombs are disguised to look like food. But when a wolf, coyote or other wildlife bites into the bait, the trap triggers a burst of poisonous cyanide. That means a slow and agonizing death for an unsuspecting animal. Cyanide bombs have been banned on millions of acres of public lands since 2023 -- but news just broke that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is trying to bring them back.1 Help defend wildlife and wild places from cyanide bombs. Cyanide bombs are indiscriminate killers. They end up littered across vast stretches of public lands, creating a deadly trap for any wildlife that are unlucky enough to stumble across them -- even endangered animals. Thousands upon thousands of animals bear the deadly cost -- but the toll doesn't stop with wildlife. Too often, these deadly devices are placed near homes and public trails. Pets have been killed, and at least one child was severely injured.2 That's why cyanide bombs have been banned since 2023 on millions of acres of federal lands that are managed by the BLM. But now, a memo shows that the Bureau of Land Management is quietly trying to bring them back.3 Here's what we believe: Public lands shouldn't be minefields for wildlife, people and pets. Calling on the BLM to stick to its previous ban on these deadly traps. Shining a spotlight to educate the public about this little-known danger to wildlife.
