Ted Cruz absolutely brutalized by CNN anchor
Republicans are defending Donald Trump's controversial cabinet picks, with Ted Cruz downplaying misconduct allegations against nominees like Pete Hegseth. Cruz stressed the importance of FBI background checks but implied only extreme revelations would change his support. Though he criticized Democrats for supporting Biden’s nominees, Cruz defended Trump’s, and some Republicans have signaled openness to recess appointments to secure confirmations.
Right wing "hero" Daniel Penny says he has no regrets
Daniel Penny was acquitted of criminally negligent homicide for the death of Jordan Neely, a homeless man he choked on a New York City subway. Conservative media, including Fox News, have hailed Penny as a hero, while critics argue that Neely’s death highlights systemic failures to support people in poverty and mental distress. Penny defended his actions in a Fox News interview, stating he would act the same way again, which is troubling given the lethal outcome.
From yesterday’s show:
The TRUTH about the healthcare CEO shooter is...WHAT?!
Luigi Mangione, the alleged assassin of UnitedHealthCare CEO Brian Johnson, was arrested in Pennsylvania and denied bail while facing multiple charges, including illegal firearm possession. Both political sides claim his actions were ideologically driven, though his online activity reflects "red-pilled" anarcho-capitalist and anti-capitalist themes. While some point to potential political motives, evidence suggests personal struggles and mental instability played a larger role.
From yesterday’s show:
Disoriented Trump's WEIRD post makes NO SENSE
Donald Trump claimed in a Truth Social post that Democrats aim to eliminate the popular vote and rely only on the Electoral College, but this is inaccurate. Democrats have historically pushed to abolish the Electoral College in favor of a national popular vote, which would give all voters equal power regardless of state. The current system gives disproportionate influence to smaller states, whereas a popular vote system would treat all votes equally. Trump's statement reflects either misunderstanding or deliberate lying for the purposes of confusing the public.
