I’ll keep this short.
First, some good news. I am interviewing Canadian Member of Parliament Charlie Angus soon. Our video on Angus’ speech calling out Trump has hit 1 million YouTube views. I’ve been told the MeidasTouch Network is having a profound impact on Canadian politics as millions of Canadians are sharing our videos. We love our Canadian Meidas Mighty.
The MeidasTouch Network just hit 5.22 billion views on YouTube. Hopefully, by early next year, we will hit 6 billion. We are gearing up for our coverage of the confirmation hearings for Trump’s unqualified and dangerous picks. Our coverage will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen on corporate media. I am confident you will be proud of it.
Corporate media continues to fail. The ratings for CNN and MSNBC are so bad it’s hard to imagine they’ll stay in business without some dramatic change or merger soon. I continue to weigh whether MeidasTouch should pursue an acquisition of MSNBC, but that would require partnering with a billionaire investor, and honestly, I don’t want any outside investors. I prefer to be independent and entirely people-powered, even if this means our growth takes longer. We are 100 percent independent.
By the way, I’m sure you heard that The Onion tried to acquire the InfoWars IP from Alex Jones’ bankruptcy, but the federal judge blocked it and said the bidding process wasn’t transparent. I appreciate the recommendations from those who said we should make a bid for InfoWars. Even if it would be a great troll of Alex Jones, I am not interested in owning anything he touched. It just doesn’t appeal to me, even if it could be turned into an engine for good. Just seeing the name InfoWars sickens me.
Speaking of billionaires, in the least shocking news of the day, we learned that both Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg are giving $1 million to Trump’s inauguration. As I said on yesterday’s live MeidasTouch podcast, it’s not that Bezos and Zuckerberg are “obeying in advance.” The fact is, they are no different than Trump—they care about money over America. They have always obeyed greed over patriotism their entire careers. This is simply a “mask off” moment for them. It sickens me.
Also, where the heck are the Democrats now?
Seriously, I don’t see a modicum of leadership.
I hear about this Democrat fighting with that Democrat for positions on committees.
I appreciate how some Democrats do great at cross-examining MAGA witnesses during committee hearings, but what is needed right now is ruthless, aggressive, loud leadership calling out Trump and his band of billionaire bandits.
It seems like a layup to call out Trump right now.
Yesterday, Trump went to the stock market, and the market dropped across all major indexes after his visit.
When ringing the bell, Trump was asked a softball question by hack business reporter Jim Cramer about whether Americans should invest in the stock market. Trump responded that he didn’t know since people would lose money if “there was a dip” in the market.
So let me get this straight: Trump went from promising riches in the stock market during his campaign to now saying there will be a dip.
Also, Trump said this past weekend on Meet the Press, and again in his Time magazine interview released yesterday, that he couldn’t promise to bring prices down. I just don’t hear Democrats loudly calling him out on the fact that his main campaign promise is a lie. Hopefully, that changes.
We will release an ad-free version of yesterday’s MeidasTouch Podcast here soon on Substack. Thanks for making this Substack one of the most widely read in the world in under 80 days. We hope you are enjoying our content here as a good supplement to everything else we put out across YouTube and all social and digital media. We have major expansion plans for 2025 thanks to your support.
By the way, how good are Ron Filipkowski’s daily recaps?
More people watch and read the MeidasTouch Network than the major media networks now. We take our responsibility seriously to be a leader in reporting. We have zero investors. You are our only stakeholders. We hope you feel we are representing your interests and bringing accountability to those in power every day, as corporate media has failed us all.
If you aren’t already a paid subscriber to this Substack, please consider becoming one now. It is a major driver of our growth.
Thanks again, and have a great Friday.
