Trump's "big, beautiful" bill is not merely a legislative proposal; it is an unprecedented assault on our sacred lands—the largest potential sell-off of national public treasures in modern history.

This bill places over 250 million acres of our public heritage at risk, demanding the arbitrary sale of at least 2 million acres of Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management lands across 11 Western states within just five years. The power granted to the secretaries of the interior and agriculture is alarming, allowing them to decide which sacred spaces, cherished recreational areas, and vital wildlife habitats may be sacrificed.

As Native Voters Alliance Nevada, we stand resolutely in the fight to protect our public lands and the life-giving resources they provide.

Today, we call upon you to unite with us by signing our letter to senators, urging them to reject this increasingly unpopular "big, beautiful" bill that threatens to strip away over 250 million acres of public land.

Even more troubling, it disrespects the sovereignty of Tribal Nations, denying them the right of first refusal on lands that are sacred to their ancestral memories.

The processes set forth in this bill are rushed and devoid of public input, leaving our precious lands vulnerable to the greed of powerful commercial interests. We cannot allow this tragedy to unfold.
