Why I'm running

 

Folks, I want to take a moment to explain why I’m running for Governor of Florida. We’re building an historic movement that speaks to the issues Floridians care about, and I’m proud that you’re part of our team. I’m running because the right to vote is sacred, and right now, it’s under attack. I’m running because we need to secure clean water for every Floridian. I’m running because we must reduce gun violence, legalize marijuana, and reform our criminal justice system. I’m running because it has never cost more to be a Floridian, but our current governor doesn’t even care. And folks, I’m running because something is missing from our leadership in Tallahassee: and that’s compassion. It’s time to restore goodness to our government.
