We’re still in our race because our movement came together to support this campaign with grassroots contributions and volunteering. Our fight is not over yet.
My fellow Justice Democrat, Kina Collins, is running a grassroots campaign to take on the political machine in Illinois’ 7th Congressional District. I am proud to support her campaign and I am so thankful that Kina and her team supported our campaign by making calls to voters to help defeat Henry Cuellar.
Will you please split a $10 contribution to help us get every vote counted in TX-28 and fuel Kina’s upcoming primary election? Kina’s primary is in just 4 weeks and she needs the resources to reach voters all across Chicago.
Kina witnessed a shooting in front of her home on the West Side of Chicago when she was a child. As a survivor and activist, she has fought her whole life to stop gun violence in her community and across the country. She led the largest gun violence prevention organization in Illinois.
Kina will be a progressive champion for the people of IL-07. Like myself, Kina has been fighting against corporate-funded Super PACs and the political establishment.
Showing up for her community is who Kina is. Whether it was the fight to hold Rahm Emanuel accountable or standing with organizers, union workers, and gun violence survivors every week. Kina will always choose to fight for her community.
The people of IL-07 deserve a representative who will fight for them, not corporations. And that’s Kina. With Kina’s primary in just 4 weeks, will you split a $10 contribution between our recount and her primary right now?
Thank you,
Jessica Cisneros
