We’re about to enter a critical get-out-the-vote weekend in my new district. Ballots are in mailboxes, early voting locations are open, and we’re running ads across LA to introduce me to tens of thousands of new voters who have never seen me on a ballot before now.
That’s a big challenge in itself, but it isn’t the only one we’re facing. I’m also facing 8 opponents in this jungle primary – Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats – which adds an even greater need for your help.
I’m not ready to stop fighting for you in Washington. I’ve been working week after week to hold Trump’s cronies accountable for undermining our democracy and to pass meaningful legislation to help workers, families and seniors thrive.
However, the Fox News Misinformation Machine has its sights set on this race. My leading Republican opponent has some of the far-right’s most despicable crooks backing her – QAnon conspiracy theorists Roger Stone and Michael Flynn, with Trump, Kevin McCarthy, and talking heads like Tucker Carlson hammering me on a weekly basis — at MAGA rallies, in Capitol Hill press pools, and on Fox News.
I know we have the grassroots power to come out on top, but now’s the time to really dig in and do everything we can to win this jungle primary election. Can you chip in $10, or any amount, today to help fund our get-out-the-vote efforts in this final stretch before Election Day?
