BREAKING: SF DA Boudin Files Charges Against Teen Robbery Suspects Arrested with Ghost Guns

The recall effort is attacking me non-stop over the false pretense that I do not prosecute.

Their attacks couldn’t be further from the truth.

To illustrate the point, take a look at my office’s recent crackdown on suspects arrested with “ghost guns.” These untraceable firearms have become ubiquitous and it’s time someone held those who use them -- and those who manufacture them -- accountable.

Here’s what’s going on: Gun manufacturers send guns to Mexico, where transnational drug cartels use them to inflict violence on both sides of the border. Then, these gun manufacturers empower drug traffickers flooding our streets with fentanyl and methamphetamines.

The DA’s office has worked tirelessly to get these guns off the streets. Meanwhile, these gun manufacturers are perpetuating violence and harm in our city.

Recently, I joined more than 25 district attorneys from across the U.S. to urge a federal court to hold these gun manufacturers accountable for the harm they are causing.

So I have to ask: What does the recall effort believe? Do they support keeping ‘Ghost Guns’ on the streets of San Francisco?

Will you add your name to our petition today to show that you support my common sense steps to address gun violence?
