20 races to watch in the next 60 days

 

With the announcement of Rana Abdelhamid (welcome, Rana!) joining the slate yesterday, I’ve got my eye on the number of races BNC has stacked up in the next two months.   Before I run down the list of upcoming elections, I need to ask for your help. We are still over $7,500 short of our April fundraising target, and we have to close that gap immediately. Here’s what’s on tap: May 3rd - Ohio heads to the polls to vote for Nina Turner (OH-11) and Morgan Harper (U.S. Senate). May 17th - SIX BNC candidates are on the ballot in four states: Charles Booker (U.S. Senate), Erica Smith (NC-01), Nida Allam (NC-04), Doyle Canning (OR-04), Jerry Dickinson (PA-18), and Malcolm Kenyatta (U.S. Senate). May 24th - Jessica Cisneros will defeat Henry Cuellar in the runoff for TX-28. June 7th - Four more BNC candidates are up for vote in three states: Angélica Dueñas (CA-29), Shervin Aazami (CA-32), Tom Winter (MT-01), and Imani Oakley (NJ-10). June 14th - Amy Vilela is facing an entrenched, establishment incumbent in NV-01. June 28th - Six MORE BNC candidates are up in Illinois and New York, including two of our five electeds: Marsha Williams (IL-17), Melanie D’Arrigo (NY-03), Brittany Ramos DeBarros (NY-11), Rana Abdelhamid (NY-12), Rep. AOC (NY-14) and Rep. Jamaal Bowman (NY-16). Each of these campaigns are working their hearts out to win, and each race has its own challenges.
