Casey concedes to McCormick in Pennsylvania Senate race
Pennsylvania ended its U.S. Senate recount after Sen. Bob Casey (D) conceded to David McCormick (R). A handful of lawsuits regarding ballot rejections in the race remain open as of Friday but may be withdrawn following Casey's concession.
“This race was one of the closest in our Commonwealth’s history, decided by less than a quarter of a point,” Casey said. “I am grateful to the thousands of people who worked to make sure every eligible vote cast could be counted, including election officials in all 67 counties.”
