Middleboro man arrested on drug charges after Dartmouth crash
DARTMOUTH — A Middleboro man was arrested on drug charges after Dartmouth Police responded to a car crash just after midnight on Saturday, June 15.
According to the Dartmouth Police Department, the vehicle’s passenger, 20-year-old Middleboro resident Shawn Walsh was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, possession with intent to distribute Class E drugs and possession with intent to distribute Class C drugs.
While responding to the crash, officers observed a baggie of suspected Psilocybin, better known as mushrooms, and a large amount of cash inside the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered pills suspected to be Oxycodone and Xanax, a Psilocybin chocolate bar, Marijuana vape cartridges, $1,262 in cash, a Glock-style BB gun, a black ski mask and additional items believed to be used in the illegal sale of narcotics, according to Dartmouth Police.
