Today is my 24th birthday! 🥳
I really appreciate everyone who has reached out so far today – it means a lot to be surrounded with friends, family, and with everyone in this movement.
To be honest, I don’t need any gifts or cards for my birthday. I’ve got something else in mind, something meaningful that will make a real impact in our work.
Since we launched Leaders We Deserve last fall, we’ve been working around the clock to build a successful organization to support our mission of electing the next generation of leaders. We need more Millennials and Gen-Z folks in the rooms where decisions are being made — and we’re accomplishing that together.
The work we are doing together is extremely important to me — and I can’t think of a better way to mark my birthday than to see folks like you joining our fight.
I know you get a lot of messages like this but they are an integral part of building our grassroots donor base that enables us to focus as much as possible on electing the next generation of progressive leaders. Leaders who get to stick to their principles, and not special interests or corporate money because of our heavy support made possible by you. Thank you sincerely for making that possible.
