New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg filed a motion seeking a firm trial date to start his criminal prosecution of Donald Trump for falsifying business records to interfere in the 2016 presidential election by covering up hush money payments. The presiding Judge, Juan Merchan, is likely to rule on the motion this coming Monday. This video also takes on the issue of why Judge Merchan denied Trump's motion to try to stop Michael Cohen from testifying in the upcoming trial, and why there is actually a standard jury instruction regarding how juries should evaluate the testimony of a witness who may have lied under oath previously.
