This is not exactly breaking news, but we have a self-contradictory, imbecilic president in the Oval Office. Within a span of less than two days, Donald Trump went from saying that the damage to the reflecting pool was a result of "pure vandalism" to saying that there is "no video or proof" to back up claims of vandalism at the reflecting pool. This is the person who has access to the nuclear codes? Trump can't even competently arrange to have a pool repaired, but he's in charge of overseeing an unconstitutional and deadly war in the Middle East? In a transparent and cynical move by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, he just gave the Minnesota state prosecutors the evidence in the killings of Renee Goode and Alex Pretti, evidence that he's been wrongfully withholding from the state prosecutors for more than six months now. And when I say wrongfully withholding - he has been obstructing justice in two state homicide investigations. But now, all of a sudden, he's given the evidence to Minnesota state prosecutors. Might Blanche's timing have something to do with the fact that his confirmation hearing to be permanent Attorney General is just days away? Nah . . .
