last night was a disgrace

Donald Trump’s State of the Union last night was a disgrace.

It was nothing more than a campaign rally filled with lies from beginning to end. 

This president proved himself yet again to be a racist who demonizes immigrants and terrorizes our communities.

Just as notable as what was in the speech is what he left out — any mention of our climate emergency.

Donald Trump did not once reference climate change or any intent to act on it. The closest he got was saying he wanted to plant some trees.

Seriously. That’s his big idea, and it doesn’t come anywhere close to addressing the scale of this crisis.

Fortunately, this was Donald Trump’s last State of the Union, and our movement is growing larger every day. Republicans and the fossil fuel corporations are no match for us.

Together, we can pass the Green New Deal and save our planet, but first, we need your help to win this race.
