WHERE ARE THE BODY CAMS?

How many people are we going to let ICE shoot in our streets?

How many people are we going to let ICE abuse, brutalize, torture, and kill?

ICE is a domestic terror organization that must be abolished. There is no other way.

And in tandem, we must hold the ICE agents who have committed these violent acts accountable. I’m talking about real, criminal accountability for terrorizing innocent people.

Just think: The men who murdered Renée Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis still walk free, without even an investigation by the Trump administration. That’s outrageous and unacceptable.

We have had immigration enforcement for decades in this country without armed thugs running around gunslinging like it’s the wild west. We absolutely can have a safe and sensible immigration system without this violence, terror, and brutality.

November 3rd is our chance to use the power of democracy to reign in ICE and Trump’s entire corrupt agenda. Corrupt Susan Collins

The simple fact is that corruption runs deep in the Republican Party.

In this case, new reporting reveals that Maine Senator Susan Collins was most likely awarding government contracts to the tune of tens of millions of dollars in exchange for contributions to her Super PAC. A textbook pay-to-play scheme at the expense of American taxpayers.

These contractors were caught red-handed skirting campaign finance laws by funneling these Super PAC contributions through a shell company.

The FBI had a solid case on their hands, with a cooperating informant, until Trump took office and completely dismantled the law enforcement units responsible for bringing corrupt politicians to justice.

This level of corruption is appalling. Here’s what we’re going to do about it.

Troy Jackson is a tried and true progressive and working class fighter who is running to defeat Susan Collins in November and deliver Democrats an absolutely critical, must-win Senate seat in Maine.

Troy is ready to fight for Medicare-for-All, workers’ rights, and an end to endless wars, but he is in one of the tightest races in the entire country this midterm cycle. He needs the help of this movement if he’s going to get over the finish line.

I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but with a schedule like mine, and six days to go until Election Day, I can assure you it’s a gift.

And while I know you probably get a lot of emails like this, I want to take a few of these minutes to tell you about my commitment to this movement.

There’s no doubt that these are perilous, unprecedented times.

Trump’s second term in the White House is proving to be the existential threat to our nation that I and many others knew it would be.

The cost of living is skyrocketing while the rich get richer. We’re months deep in a stupid and destabilizing war with Iran. ICE violence has been unleashed across the nation with the blessing of the President. Corruption is running rampant at every level of this administration. And MAGA continues their attacks on our democracy and access to the ballot box.

The Project 2025 agenda is playing out before our eyes. I am committed to fighting back with everything I’ve got.

Hello.....

I am heartbroken by the murders of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero—two fathers whose lives were taken by Trump’s ICE thugs.

That’s why on Friday, I went up to Scarborough, Maine and conducted an oversight check of the ICE facility. There were no body cameras. No training. And there has been no accountability.

Following my oversight visit, I joined Activate Maine and community members in Biddeford who had gathered to mourn the death of Johan Guerrero and all of those ICE has killed. Together, we turned grief into resolve, demanding accountability and action.

To the people of Biddeford: Massachusetts mourns with you, we are angry with you, and we will not stop fighting alongside you.

The fear and violence we are witnessing are not accidental—they are the predictable result of an administration that has chosen to scapegoat immigrants and terrorize Black and Brown communities for political gain. We reject that politics of hate. We know immigrants are our neighbors, our coworkers, our loved ones, and they deserve safety, dignity, and opportunity.

In the wake of this tragic violence, please consider donating to these organizations that are on the ground working to protect immigrant communities in Maine:

Is anyone asking what about the CRIMINAL CHARGES that JOHN DEATON

is fighting? Aren't those DISBARRABLE CHARGES?

I write to you after just leaving the Senate floor where for the first time in history Congress has passed a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s reckless Iran war. Working people are angry at Trump’s blatant corruption. But we’re not agonizing—we’re organizing.

That’s the spirit I saw knocking doors in Somerville and Newton this weekend, a Commonwealth united in defense of the values we hold dear. Because we know that Trump and his MAGA cronies will keep trying to knock us down, but we have to get back up and fight. We know that Massachusetts will not be bullied.

Cutting Wasteful Pentagon Spending and Investing in American Families

Senator Markey introduced the Slash the Pentagon Act to reduce the bloated Pentagon budget and cut the Trump administration's $1.5 trillion defense budget in half. $750 billion in savings could instead make investments that directly improve Americans’ lives, including in healthcare, affordable housing, nutrition assistance, education, and transportation infrastructure.

Protecting Haitian Families and Preserving Temporary Protected Status

Senator Markey introduced legislation to designate Haiti for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), protecting more than 300,000 Haitian nationals from deportation as Haiti faces severe political instability, widespread violence, and a worsening humanitarian crisis. The bill would allow Haitian TPS holders to continue living and working legally in the United States, keeping families together, strengthening local economies, and providing a critical humanitarian safeguard while conditions in Haiti remain unsafe.

Combating the Rise of Cancer Among Young Adults

Senator Markey introduced the Asal Sayas National Strategy on Young Adult Cancers Act to address the alarming increase in cancer diagnoses among Americans under age 50. The legislation would establish a comprehensive national strategy to improve cancer research, expand screening and early detection, reduce barriers to care, and accelerate the development of innovative treatments, helping ensure that young adults facing cancer receive the resources, support, and care they need.
