A Bolivian whistleblower who survived an alleged assassination attempt now fears she could be arrested for exposing a sprawling corruption network with ties to Trump associates across Latin America.
Nadia Beller, a lawyer and former partner of Argentine political operative Fernando Cerimedo, alleges that Cerimedo orchestrated an attempt on her life while she was pregnant with his child. According to investigative journalist Camila Lourdes Galarza, Beller survived the shooting and subsequently began exposing alleged election interference, drug trafficking operations, and political corruption involving powerful figures throughout the region.
Now, Beller says Bolivian authorities are preparing to arrest her, potentially using her own whistleblower testimony as evidence that she had prior knowledge of criminal activity.
In an interview with MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas, Galarza detailed the allegations against Cerimedo, his reported connections to Trump’s political network, and investigations that have emerged in multiple South American countries.
Galarza also reported that a Bolivian prosecutor who pursued charges against Cerimedo was subsequently detained by authorities, raising further concerns about the treatment of those investigating the alleged network.
Beller, who says she remains under police surveillance, fears for both her life and the life of her unborn child.
