Trump just sent an aircraft carrier and warships toward Cuba, a tactic he used before invading Venezuela and launching a war on Iran.¹

Trump is desperately searching for a military win as his disastrous war in Iran drags on. He's demanded the removal of the Cuban president and said he wants to "take" Cuba.^2,3 The Trump administration also indicted the former Cuban president Raul Castro for murder this week — another hostile act similar to a Trump move before kidnapping Nicolas Maduro.⁴

Democrats in the Senate are pushing a war powers resolution to stop Trump from attacking Cuba. It would be yet another illegal, unnecessary military intervention abroad. This time, Congress must act BEFORE Trump goes to war.
