Arizona Blocked Trump’s ICE Prison, Twenty AGs Beat The Regime, and Floridians Fight The DeSantis Power Grab
You lose the battles you don’t fight
ICE was trying to build a prison next to a chemical plant—the regime wants that story to stay quiet. Hit the ❤️ like button and re-stack this edition to help the truth beat their lies. When you share, people who would never find this news will.

ARIZONA SAID NO
The regime bought a warehouse in Surprise, Arizona, and announced it would cage hundreds of human beings there—right across the street from a documented chemical hazard zone holding thousands of gallons of hazardous materials. To convert it, they awarded a $313 million no-bid contract to the same company that runs the Everglades concentration camp.
A high school sits less than a mile away, where some students have already switched to online classes rather than walk past the site.
On April 24, Attorney General Kris Mayes filed her 41st lawsuit against the regime to block it. She has an 81% success rate against them, and she’s not done.
Mayes argues the regime broke federal law by skipping required environmental reviews. “The federal government wants to open a jail inside a documented chemical hazard zone,” she said. “You lose every battle that you choose not to fight. Today, the state of Arizona is choosing to fight.”
The regime picked the wrong attorney general. The federal government’s own spending database shows a stop-work order was issued to the contractor—just days before Mayes even filed. Arizona is winning before the judge even rules.
THE REGIME QUIT
The regime tried to gut $4 billion in homeless housing funding—cutting off providers that serve transgender clients, practice harm reduction, or operate in sanctuary cities. It was a targeted punishment—170,000 people across the country could lose their housing because of it.
Steve Heisman of the nonprofit HABcore in New Jersey ran the numbers, and said under the new rules his organization would’ve received a mere 9% of its previous funding.
Twenty states sued. A Rhode Island judge blocked it. The regime appealed, and after losing in court twice, they dropped it altogether.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta didn’t flinch: “We continue to fight for Californians and the rule of law, and we continue to win.” The funding keeps flowing. Good.
THEY SHOWED UP IN TALLAHASSEE
Governor Ron DeSantis convened a special session to redraw 28 congressional districts—targeting four Democratic incumbents. Renowned Democratic lawyer Marc Elias sued the moment the special session was called.
Hundreds of Floridians traveled to the Capitol Tuesday to protest—mobilized by Equal Ground. “Florida voters approved the Fair District Amendments in 2010 because we wanted to rid our system of this type of partisan gerrymandering and rigging for political gain,” said Genesis Robinson, the group’s executive director.
Even GOP Rep. Daniel Webster broke with his party to say “don’t do it,” and Karl Rove warned Republicans not to overreach.
The regime is trying to steal seats it can’t win. Floridians showed up to say no.
WE DON’T HAVE EXCEPTIONS
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani was asked this week whether Trump’s penthouse would face the new tax on luxury properties. Mamdani was clear: “We don’t have exceptions.” NY Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office confirmed it: “Rest assured, these are exactly the kinds of properties that will be taxed.” Trump has gotten special treatment his entire life. Not anymore.

I have two questions I would love to get your take on in the comments.
Do you think the DeSantis redistricting attempt will backfire on the GOP?
The regime issued a stop work order on their own ICE prison construction. Do you think they will back down completely or try to push it through?
NEW: Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have announced the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center Moratorium Act, legislation that would enact a reasonable pause to the development of AI to ensure the safety of humanity.

A FEW COMMENTS AMONG MANY:
This is exactly why we resist—to make Trump pay. We are winning because we refuse to look away!
Interesting that while ICE is trying to build prisons, Trump wants his “ballroom” finished in time for the midterms since he’s going to need a new command and control center for election results to be manipulated to keep Trump in power. That would follow by riots in the streets, Hegseth ordering troops to fire on protesters and that would be the only rational or justification for such a heavily fortified and sophisticated structure. He’s afraid of the riots and likely his last trip there was during BLM. Probably hated it, wants a new gold plated one. His private donors are buying a future while we get ripped off. I hope our side is war gaming all possible scenarios.
And the sick o fants are trying to make it a law to build the stupid ballroom! Boy do we NEED change in Congress and Senate! Vote BLUE! But I won't say no matter who! NO AIPAC money! Abolish ICE and take FEMA OUT of DHS! etc. etc. etc.
Abolish ICE 🧊
Do you think the DeSantis redistricting attempt will backfire on the GOP? I certainly hope so! Pretty sick that he won't let voters have a say like CA and VA did!
The regime issued a stop work order on their own ICE prison construction. Do you think they will back down completely or try to push it through? Of course they will try to push it through but I just learned via Rachel Maddow they have NOT gotten even one of these illegal CONCENTRATION camps done. That is indeed good news!
FLORIDA REPUBLICAN BOOBS couldn't pass a BUDGET! Now this?
One could speculate that the high population of retired residents from elsewhere fosters indifference and a lack of historical background.
What they tolerate without protest is always curious!
States governed by a SINGLE MAJORITY by REPUBLICANS are always problematic!
MASS GOP whine and lament constantly about MASSACHUSETTS, ignoring that a
DEMOCRATIC MAJORITY is like HERDING CATS!
Because the electorate is better educated and informed, there tend to be protests or calls to elected official - more publicity keeps them responsive.
🗺️ Floridians want fair maps and are saying NO to redrawing maps. DeSantis stands to lose support of GOP if he pushes partisan gerrymandering.
⚖️ Bad idea to build an ICE prison on a toxic waste site ⚠️. If they try to force it, I expect the regime to fail. AG Kris Mayes’s has a winning record against them.
Where are the Epstein files 🗄️🗄️❓
DeSantis will probably win because the Supreme Court just gutted an important part of the VRA and gave the green light too the gerrymanders.
And a few minutes ago Supreme Court gave the key of governance in perpetuity to the Republicans by gutting the VRA. We can not talk about reforming the court because there will be no more chance of democracy in our country. I am an eternal optimist but today it seems it is indeed all lost.
WHAT?!
REALLY WHAT the F _ _ _??? I'm assuming VRA is the Voting Rights Act? The Supreme Court are NOT the lawmakers, how do they even have a say in this?
All the more important to participate in 5/1's No work, no school, no shopping. There are more of us than there are of them. JUST SAY NO! Floridians have to continue to show up to stop the gerrymandering!
Trumpstein files now! Blanch can't use the Blondi trickery, so more pressure on him and DonOld!
Another good day for the resistance! Thanks, Scott!
Of course Florida redistricting will backfire. People are over this mess.
The regime will back down in AZ. They are tired of losing lawsuits.
Have you all seen that Katie Phang is suing Todd Blanche for violating the law as concerns the Epstein files? She wants a Special Master to oversee the DOJ. That is what Ro Khanna and Tom Massie tried for awhile back. It's what is needed as the DOJ (pammy jo before toddy) are breaking the law! I hope they both get disbarred!
grateful for those with the courage and ability to continue to do what is morally and legally right, unlike so many doing the opposite
DeSantis will push for the redistricting, but even in this Ruby Red state people are waking up and fighting against his efforts. Alcatraz Alley is an example of his cruelty.
