Last year, as soon as it became apparent that the backlash to Trump’s second administration was going to sink any hopes they had of holding onto Congress, and potentially the Senate, MAGA moved to rig upcoming elections by redrawing Congressional maps mid decade. They started by gerrymandering Texas and eliminating up to five Democratic seats. They gloated and celebrated their election rigging success. But their smiles soon turned to frowns as Democrats fought back—starting with California redrawing their own maps. And now, Texas’s MAGA Senator, Ted Cruz, has taken to social media to cry like a baby after Virginia passed their new map:   Ted Cruz has proven time and time again that he really has no shame.   MAGA only knows how to play the victim. This is a fight they started, and now that Democrats are fighting back, they are instinctively doing the only thing they do best—act like they’re the ones who have been wronged. They aren’t fooling anyone. If they couldn’t take a punch, they should have never swung in the first place. And now they have to reckon with the fact that Democrats are going to finish the fight. Colorado Draws the Line is spearheading the ballot initiative in Colorado that would give Democrats 3-4 additional seats in Congress.  Colorado will not stand by and let MAGA lock in one party rule for a decade plus. Our initiative will end the fight that MAGA started but couldn’t finish. Trump and MAGA are reeling as their losses mount. That’s why we expect them to throw everything they have at us to block our initiative. With enough Democrats rallying to our cause, we can end this fight once and for all: MAGA can play the victim all they want. Colorado Draws the Line is going to finish this fight.
