A plague rat in charge of public health
This week Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slunk into a Senate hearing and showed the country exactly what happens when you put a plague rat in charge of public health policy.
Over the course of a few chaotic hours, Kennedy turned a Senate hearing into the World Series of batsh** incompetence, a masterclass in worm-brained paranoia.
He brushed off more than 1.2 million COVID deaths with, “I don’t know how many died,” like the number of American headstones was trivia night filler.
He flat-out lied about vaccine access, claiming anyone could still get a COVID booster while Elizabeth Warren and other senators pointed out that under his new restrictions healthy people under 65 are being turned away at pharmacies and insurance companies won’t cover the shot.
He dismissed documented illness outbreaks and research, sneered at senators who pressed him for answers, and literally laughed when Maggie Hassan grilled him on his hypocrisy.
And when confronted about firing CDC Director Susan Monarez – who said she was removed for refusing to gut the childhood vaccine schedule without scientific review — Kennedy called her “untrustworthy” and accused her of lying.
Our health systems have been turned into a carnival of lunacy run by a man who thinks AI-generated Facebook memes count as medical research.
When you put a conspiracy clown with a famous last name at the top of HHS, people die.
Kids miss vaccines. Families lose faith in medicine. Outbreaks spread.
And the whole country suffers because one over-bronzed con man had to reward a buffoon for not stealing his votes as a third party presidential candidate.
Once we flip this seat I will lead the charge in Congress to file articles of impeachment against this dangerous jackaloon.
He has no business holding power, and every day he clings to office more Americans are put at risk.
