Earlier this week, when federal judges blocked Trump’s tariffs, Defend Our Courts issued a warning: the decision will only embolden Trump’s war on courts.
And that is exactly what happened, this time expanding his attacks to the judges he appointed himself:

Trump in an unhinged and paranoid Truth Social post, attacked the Federalist Society - the conservative think tank that has infamously helped GOP presidents, including Trump, appoint conservative federal judges - accusing them of purposefully recommending judges that would undermine his fascist agenda.
By raging at the judges he appointed himself, Trump is admitting the quiet part out loud - he doesn’t expect the judges he appoints to uphold the constitution or rule of law, he expects them to be obedient puppets that rubber stamp his agenda, unconstitutional or not.
Now more than ever, it is imperative that we do not allow Trump to place his handpicked judges on state courts in key swing states around the country. If Federalist Society judges - the judges who reversed Roe v. Wade and so much more - aren’t extreme enough for him, we don’t even want to know who he has in mind for Pennsylvania.
Right now, MAGA extremists and right-wing billionaires are trying to take down the three Democratic justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in their 2025 retention election. Their goal is to replace these judges with puppets who will let Trump act as a dictator and ensure PA elections are no longer fair or competitive - turning it deep red.
