This is What Obeying in Advance Looks Like

Corporate media is at it again

Monday night, CNN ran the ridiculous headline: “Trump considers US expansion.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, the subtitle was: “If he's serious, a territorial expansion into Panama, Greenland, and Canada would rival the Louisiana Purchase.”

None of this is serious—especially not Trump. Canada isn’t becoming our 51st state. Greenland is not for sale. And the Panama Canal isn’t going to be taken back from Panama. Period.

It’s not just CNN. The NY Times said: “Trump’s Wish to Control Greenland and Panama Canal: Not a Joke This Time.” AP, Reuters, Forbes, NBC, and so many others posted stories that made it seem like it was actually a possibility.

Give me a break. All this does is weaken America on the world stage, and it shows Trump to be the clueless, petty bully he is.

This is why so many people are tuning out and cancelling subscriptions to corporate media. We’re all so sick and tired of them giving life to these baseless stories, normalizing Donald’s wildest claims, and lying to the public with their pro-Trump headlines.

As best-selling author Timothy Snyder puts it, “do not obey in advance.” It’s too bad corporate media is. But we will never obey. Not in advance, not ever.

And with one of the largest social media presences in politics, we have a responsibility to put them on blast and hold them accountable at a constant. We’re also fighting Trump and rallying the Resistance like few others can.

Since the election, we’ve sent more than 74,000 letters to Congress demanding they oppose Donald’s unfit cabinet picks. It’s been 173 days since my team and I have taken a day off, and we’re not slowing down now.

So if you haven’t yet, please consider joining us as a paid subscriber today, and help us do more as we accelerate our efforts into the new year:

Onward,

Scott
