Sweet Benny's Smile Brings Joy to Animal Place
Benny’s infectious smile lights up our days here at Animal Place. He came to us under bittersweet circumstances—a guardian going through a divorce needed help finding placement for several sheep. Benny joined us as a potential buddy for Cocomel, though their friendship didn’t quite blossom as hoped. This led to the rescue of Marzipan, and Benny quickly made himself at home with the
rest of our animal family. The other sheep in need were placed with loving homes, and Benny’s grin is a daily reminder of the second chances we can provide. His sweet disposition and heartwarming smile bring joy to everyone he meets. Benny has found a safe haven and made Animal Place all the brighter with his presence.
Cottonwood, CA: A Sweet Toggenburg in Need of a Loving Home
Blondie’s story is one of resilience and heartbreak. This neutered Toggenburg goat was abandoned by his original “owner,” who took all the female goats but left Blondie behind when selling the property. Now, the new property owners are refusing to care for him, leaving him in desperate need of a
forever home. A kind individual has been bringing Blondie food and water, but this shy boy deserves so much more. He’s currently in Cottonwood, living in a fenced area, but he’s understandably scared of humans and would need experienced handlers to help corral and safely transport him. If you or someone you know can provide Blondie with the care and compassion he needs, please reach out to Marji@animalplace.org. Let’s find this sweet goat the loving sanctuary he deserves!
