Indigenous voters sue Montana officials over polling place locations Indigenous voters in Montana sued over officials' refusal to open satellite election offices on the Fort Peck Reservation. The lawsuit claims that the nearest poll sites are 20 to 30 miles away, unlawfully burdening voters on the reservation. Trial today in Georgia State Election Board case The trial was held today in a lawsuit from the Democratic National Committee challenging two new rules passed by the Georgia State Election Board that could delay election certification. Democrats argue the rules violate state law. A group of notable Republicans, including former Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) and ex-Trump attorney Ty Cobb, filed a trial brief today in support of the Democrats, urging the court to block a rule passed by the MAGA members of the board.

The latest on Pennsylvania voting lawsuits A nonprofit and three voters sued Luzerne County for eliminating drop boxes without the approval of the county board of elections, which had previously approved four drop boxes for the November election. A Pennsylvania voter voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit claiming that the state is violating the National Voter Registration Act by not properly maintaining its voter rolls ahead of the election. The dismissal Monday came only three days after he filed it. Election denier challenges Wisconsin’s participation in voter database A GOP legislator in Wisconsin filed a lawsuit challenging the state’s participation in ERIC, a multi-state agreement that helps states maintain accurate voter rolls. The election-denying lawmaker says the agreement violates the Wisconsin Constitution. Arizona’s voter data error affected 218,000 voters The error in Arizona’s elections systems that briefly risked the voting eligibility of 97,000 residents actually affected 218,000 voters, officials said in a release yesterday.
