I can’t believe what we’ve seen this Congress do to our nation’s wildlife. Bills to strip away life-saving protections from wolves and bears. Abandoning right whales to the threat of extinction. A barrage of bills aimed at shattering the Endangered Species Act. If they get their way, the wild world as we know it will be damaged beyond repair. Whatever happens in the next few months, we need to be prepared to fight back for the animals we love! Congress is now officially in recess. Those members are taking a break to go home, spend time with their families, and travel freely as they please. But while they get to relax, gray wolves are still running for their lives. For many wolves, safety is out of reach, their families are in danger, and they could be gunned down instantly just for crossing state lines. It’s not fair that extremists in Congress can spend months attacking wildlife protections and still rest while the animals we love suffer! Defenders will never stop while wildlife needs us.
