Stopping Short


In this week’s podcast, we take a look at the just-released federal Automatic Emergency Braking rule and how it raises the bar for AEB in cars.  We’re also discussing a new investigation into Ford’s BlueCruise, a wrong way Waymo, and the newest additions to our Consumer AV Bill of Rights.


In this week’s news, automakers are failing to release timely recall remedies, frustrating and endangering vehicle owners.  And NHTSA opens an investigation into the Tesla Autopilot recall fix that – get this –isn’t working as advertised.
