Friends, Right now, there are many elections across the country where votes are still being counted and the outcome hasn’t been determined. But in our race, we know the outcome. And it is the honor of a lifetime to tell you that we’ve won. THANK YOU. We simply would not have won without you, and I'll be forever grateful. This victory is in a new district. One that’s never existed. A new district is a rare opportunity — an opportunity for a new start, a new generation, and a new set of expectations. Over the coming days, I want to share with you my thoughts about how I’m going to approach this job — and how I’m going to keep you posted along the way. I want to be accessible, transparent, and informative. But for now, it’s just a short note from me. Last night was a big moment for our family, and I thought I’d share the pictures of when they called our race. Our watch party was at a local brewery. My staff, family, and I were in the storage area watching the returns come in. Suddenly, my campaign manager said, “AP just called it.” It was over — we had won. I gave Marisa a hug and Avery joined in. Then Owen ran in saying, “We won! We Won!” and gave me a huge hug. Then we all walked out to the stage as a family, where I shared the good news, thanked my opponent, and talked for a few minutes about how I intend to meet this tremendous responsibility. We made the decision to run as a family, we ran as a family, and we won as a family. Thank you, for everything, and now let’s get to work. More soon,Jeff |
