It’s official

It’s official.

I’M THE NEXT U.S. SENATOR FROM PENNSYLVANIA!!!!! 😭😭

I am *so* deeply grateful for each + every one of you who’ve had my back over the last two years.

Whether you showed up to knock doors, donated to an email like this one, or even just shared about our campaign with your friends + family, your support helped power us to this historic victory.

This campaign has been about fighting for every person who’s gotten knocked down and had to get back up + every community who’s had to build themselves back up.

I’m proud of what we ran on in this race: From protecting a woman’s right to choose to raising the minimum wage to fighting for the union way of life to making more things in America + standing up to corporate greed.

This was a race for the future of every community across PA.

For every person or small town that’s felt left behind.

For every job that’s been lost or factory closed.

For every person who works hard and still can’t get ahead.

Twenty years ago, I came to Braddock to start a GED program. And I’ve spent the last two decades fighting for forgotten communities like it because I still believe that no one deserves to be abandoned. Every community matters.

It’s been a tough race. It was the most competitive race in the country, and we ran one hell of a campaign – all while I was recovering from a stroke.

They spent $100 MILLION to tear us down, but we came out on top. And I’m *so* proud of everything we’ve accomplished.

So from me, Gisele, Karl, Gracie, August, Levi + Artie: Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
